Lahad Datu Blue Hole

In case you missed the news, there’s a newly discovered blue hole in Darvel Bay Lahad Datu. A blue hole is a large marine cavern or sinkhole, which is open to the surface and has developed in a bank or island composed of a carbonate bedrock.

This natural phenomenon in Lahad Datu, now named The Blue Hole of Tingkayu Corals could be the next big thing for scuba divers and sea-walking lovers alike!

Mr. Nasrulhakim (Sabah Parks Senior Research Offi cer) said, the blue hole could become a major tourist attraction such as The Great Blue Hole of Belize (Central America), Blue Hole Dean (Bahamas), apart from Dragon Blue Hole (China). How exciting!

So add Lahad Datu to your Travel Bucket List this year, and no need to worry about your place of stay when you visit there. We can help you with that!
