Kuching Sarawak | Beelik

Kuching, capital of Sarawak, is a bustling, diverse city of old colonial buildings and modern towers. Along its famous Sarawak River waterfront are food vendors, shophouses selling handicrafts and an esplanade with views of 19th-century landmarks. Kuching’s city centre is well preserved and very compact; virtually everything that is worth seeing can be reached on foot or by sampan (smal traditional boat). The narrow, bustling streets are crammed with shops selling all manner of goods, from the mundane to the exotic.
